High Fashion has been in my family for generations. I have been blessed to be the graddaughter of a prominentt Carribean American designer, Mildred Joyce Forde who made her debut as showtime at the Apollos nightly Weekly Fashion Performance. I have been to the ritz, the cabana and to the moon with her. I have modeled for local television, and made appearances at local press conferences and community events.
As an aspiring designer, I have earned internships and mentorship under influencial professionals in the industry. I have worked at countless public fashion shows. I have managed numerous couture and fashion photoshoots, and I have contributed my ideas to many designers and business owners in the industry.

My mothers family actually comes from an ancient tribe of princesses. Fashion and glamour were one of the most natural parts of being my mothers child. My great grandmothers and their grandchildren taught me about sass and pizazz and putting on the charm. Where my mother was all city, my cousin was all country pretty. Where my aunt was all bossy mean and flossy she could also be very fashionably charming and funny. She was the one with the stories. And we have many many stories that come with our royalty; those are just a few, and I find that we try our best to tell it with our style. Of course the house, the job and the best meal were prime grounds for racking up royalties, however it was the outfit always to tell the WHOLE story. I hated those satin bows and satin trimmed socks, I did. (Lord you know I did), but I thank my mother now for her old school vintage class. Because I was the only girl in m
y highschool with gucci links, and diamond cut princess rings from Guyana. They cost a lot period and I appreciate my family for their gifts of style and class.
Because of family gifts and the industrty I have acumulated a tremendous knowledge in highfashion, a benefit to anyone wanting to make an impression become or mingle with impressionable people.
